August:
8th Redgrave and Lopham Fen - Raft spider. Alton Water - Wasp spider and Common Blue butterflies
10th Common Blues and Brown Argus butterflies at Raydon
22nd Went up to Norfolk, this time Wayne and I walked to the end of Blakeney Point to see the Common Seals. It took us 2 hrs driving followed by a 3 hr hike across the shingle to find the seals. It was such a beautiful sunny day which meant I didn't notice I was shooting with a low shutter speed, so many of my photographs were not very sharp. We were absolutely shattered after another 2 hrs walking back, although this time it was along the sandy beach.
25th Watched a fox while walking Taz in the morning, running around the edge of a field, carrying a pigeon whilst being mobbed by a magpie. Another pigeon was faking being injured trying to distract the fox but the fox soon caught sight that it was being watched and disappeared.
